PD782 Bandsplit changes

its a SOFTWARE FIX! no damage to radio! it will allow people who have acquired hi split radios to use them in the ham bands!

No Thanks!
There's not much to listen to and zero to talk to from the frequency range 470 to 527 ( T Band ).

I'd rather not monkey about inside my PD782G to add some range that I'll likely not get much use out of. If one needs it, then ok. But the VCO in the PD782 wasn't designed to go into that range, and your performance / sensitivity will be degraded in the upper ranges. Hytera offers the PD682G that does 400-527 T Band right out of the box. I've got a couple I use, and I've listened on the HP8920B Service Monitor & never heard anything up there in our locale. Seems like very little gain, and the distinct possibility of really "fixing ones Radio" exists.
